Stained Glass Etc - Fishing Net Windows

Part of a three light memorial window at Poole St James, Poole Dorset, the window shows a fishing net containing 156 fish most of which are swimming towards the light.

Stained Glass Etc - Revelations Window

A window in slab glass and concrete (dalle-de-vere) approximate size 5m x 2.5m, the subject is revelations. At St Aldhelm's church Radipole Dorset

Stained Glass Etc - St Francis' Window

East window at St Francis of Assisi Church, Littlemoor Weymouth Dorset, size approximately 5m x 7.5m. The subject of the window has two potential interpretations, either St Francis's vision of the risen Christ, or aspects from the life of St Francis, the window is made from a mixture of mouth blown German opal glass and English streaky glass.

One of two windows at the Macmillan unit Chapel Christchurch Hospital Dorset the subject of both windows is hope.

East window at Holy Trinity Church ,Yeovil Somerset, approximate size 5m x 8m The subject is the moment in time immediately after the baptism of Christ in the River Jordan, it is intended for the person looking at the window to imagine themselves viewing the events through the eyes of John the Baptist.


Virgin Mary First School Gillingham.
The subject for the window is the lamentation of Christ, often shown in northern european pre renaissance art.
Basically the lamentation refers to the time when Christ has been removed from the cross, but not yet placed in the tomb.
